Disney refused to buy Twitter because too many bots on the platform. This comes after a whistle blower / former head of security for Twitter provided an 86 page document detailing the knowledge Twitter had of their fake accounts and refusal to accurately report it to the SEC - numbers which were used, bit could be explained, by Twitter to estimate their advertisement value (~5% bots). This also comes after top Cyber security and former US Federal law enforcement agent releases his estimates of >90% bots on their platform.

Now Disney is discovered to have secretly penned a deal but backed out because of the same reason -too many bots.

Musk was denied a trial extension date but this new development will likely see a new filing in court asking for more time to review this newly discovered information.

Quoting Disney executive:

“Interestingly enough, because I read the news these days, we did look very carefully at all of the Twitter users — I guess they’re called users? — and we at that point estimated with some of Twitter’s help that a substantial portion — not a majority — were not real."
