As far as the legislative agendas, it isn't like the Senate or the Presidency is going to support any House measures anyways. As for the Committees, the delay only helps as the clock keeps ticking towards indictments attempts, etc.
Eventually the House will resume function and the only thing good they will be able to do is conduct investigations which will get started shortly anyways.
The $1,700,000,000,000 budget took a few hours to pass. The Speaker is going into day 3. The priority of the previous Speaker was not debate and seeking the best solution, it was always a dictatorialship so nothing was actually in the best interests of the American People.
Now, this debate in the House shows that every decision should be hard fought and decided after long debate and conversation.
