FUN FACT:

The United States Marshal Service lost all records of my arrest.

I was arrested by the FBI for writing and using a computer virus to change my grades. I was facing 40 years in prison and my co-defendant snitched immediately.

I spent 46 months in solitary confinement at CCA (now Core Civic) privately ran Leavenworth Detention Center. I was ultimately "convicted" of a minor offense with the maximum sentence of 36 months. I was immediately released.

In 2022 now Core Civic Leavenworth Detention Center lost its contract with the U.S. Marshal Service and two days before the contract ended the records storage area ignited on fire, causing a complete destruction of all physical records. The same room housed their internal servers.

Only individuals who left CCA (Core Civic) for the Bureau of Prisons had their records transferred. All other records were stored physically or electronically within their systems.

NCIC records shows my arrest and original charges, but it also shows as "dismissal" because I was released directly from the courtroom on the day of my guilty verdict. I appealled, lost but got my case sealed.
